The Vinmec Times City International Hospital received the Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation for the second time at a ceremony in Ha Noi today.
The JCI accreditation, a global standard in healthcare, reaffirms the hospital’s international quality and service standards as well as guarantees the prestige and stature of the Vinmec medical system on a global scale.
“Vinmec has made great efforts to reach international standards in the field of healthcare during recent years. The successful re-evaluation of the Vinmec Times City International Hospital will be a positive premise for Vinmec Central Park’s reappraisal in the next two years, confirming Vinmec’s commitment to provide international quality medical services as well as ensure the highest safety for its customers,”said Bui Duc Phu, deputy general director of the Vinmec Medical System.
Vinmec is not only the first medical system in Viet Nam to receive a JCI accreditation but also the only system with two hospitals (Vinmec Times City in Ha Noi and Vinmec Central Park in HCM City) to have received prestigious JCI certificates.
Since it received the first JCI accreditation on June 26, 2015, Vinmec Times City has made continuous efforts over the past three years in terms of both professional quality and service. The hospital applies strict JCI standards to ensure effective treatment and highest level of safety for patients.
JCI experts highly appreciated Vinmec for continuously updating to the latest version of JCI with increasingly stringent requirements, achieving significant improvements over the first and ongoing JCI assessments.
JCI awards one of the highest standards in healthcare, with 285 standards and 1,200 measurable elements recognised in 90 countries. To date, some 800 medical facilities in 60 countries have received a JCI accreditation. — VNS
