HÀ NỘI — VinFast has announced on March 12 that it had delivered over 12,500 electric cars across various models in February 2025 within the Vietnamese market, reinforcing its dominant position in the domestic automotive industry.
Despite the disruption caused by the Lunar New Year holiday, VinFast still managed to achieve an impressive 25 per cent sales growth compared to January 2025. This highlights the company’s resilience and strong demand for its electric vehicles, even during traditionally slow periods.
In February, the VF 3 was the standout performer for VinFast, with 5,200 units delivered. This model earned the title of the 'national electric car' due to its exceptional advantages in price, size, and dynamic design. The VF 3 is highly versatile, catering to various customer segments and has become a popular choice for personalisation, sparking a nationwide trend of creative car modifications.
The second spot in VinFast's February sales rankings was claimed by the VF 5, with over 3,000 units sold. Known for its affordability, optimal functionality and economic efficiency, the VF 5 has become the go-to car for both personal use and business applications, offering excellent value for a range of customers.
Close behind the VF 5 is the VF 6, which delivered nearly 2,000 vehicles. The VF 6 has now maintained five consecutive months of sales exceeding 1,000 units, securing its place as a leader in the B-class high-chassis segment within the Vietnamese market.
The remaining 2,200 vehicles were split across the VF e34, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9 models, with the VF 7 standing out by selling more than 570 units, further contributing to VinFast's strong market presence.
After becoming the best-selling car brand in Vietnam in 2024, the company has already delivered nearly 23,000 electric cars in the first two months of 2025, further solidifying its leadership in the Vietnamese automotive industry.
In addition, VinFast has announced the official pricing for its Green models, which are optimised for transportation services. Starting from March 17, 2025, the Minio Green, Herio Green, Nerio Green, and Limo Green models will begin accepting deposits through the partner GSM. These new Green models are expected to meet the growing demand for electric vehicles in the transportation service sector, offering an affordable and eco-friendly option for businesses. — VNS
