HÀ NỘI — VinFast has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Motech Automotive Service Centres to expand its service workshop network for electric vehicles (EVs) in the Philippines.

This collaboration aims to meet the growing demand for EVs among Filipino consumers and demonstrates VinFast's commitment to promoting green transformation in the region.

The agreement includes plans to accredit 63 Motech service workshops as authorized VinFast service centers. These centers will handle repairs, warranties, and maintenance for VinFast EVs.

VinFast aims to establish over 100 service workshops across the Philippines within this year. The partnership with Motech is integral to this expansion. Motech workshops will adhere to VinFast's standards in terms of facilities, equipment, and personnel. VinFast will provide training and technical support to facilitate this expansion.

Motech operates a vast network of auto service centers across the Philippines, including locations from Tuguegarao to Metro Manila and Mindanao.

The partnership will also focus on exploring business cooperation, information sharing, and joint marketing related to EV after-sales services in Southeast Asia. — VNS
