VinCity Sportia, a property project under Vingroup, has been given permission to sell apartments to foreigners in Viet Nam.

The project is the first this year to receive a licence from the Ha Noi Department of Construction.

The news has caught the eye of the expatriate community in the capital, mainly individual investors, large investment funds and foreign businesses, especially those from South Korea and Japan, due to the project’s central location and high-quality.

VinCity Sportia is a dynamic and smart city based on the Singaporean urban model and invested by Vingroup’s Vinhomes JSC.

Located on Thang Long Avenue in Tay Mo Ward in Nam Tu Liem District, only seven minutes from the National Convention Centre, this urban area features modern planning, and will be connected by metro lines of 5,6 and7 when they are completed, according to the city’s master plan for 2030-50.

With the arterial line of the western part of the capital being rapidly developed, this area is expected to become a new centre and a bright spot on Ha Noi’s real estate map.

Within a radius of six kilometres, VinCity Sportia boasts easy access to key administrative agencies, offices, cultural and sports centres, and a school system from high school to university. This part of the city also has the highest concentration of foreigners who are senior experts and personnel from countries such as South Korea, Japan, Europe and the US.

VinCity Sportia covers an area of 280ha. As a smart urban area with comprehensive application of modern technology in operational management, it brings the most advanced living conditions to residents.

With a total construction density of only 14.7 per cent, the project stands out with a fully-equipped utility system with the highlight being Southeast Asia’s largest sports park, which has more than 1,000 training machines, over 200 sports grounds, eight parks for roller skating, mountain biking and kayaking, and more than 60 playgrounds for kids and eight indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

VinCity Sportia also has a full system of schools, hospitals and trade centres, meeting all the needs of residents.

CEO of Vinhomes JSC Luu Thi Anh Xuan said VinCity was highly respected by foreign customers for its growth potential thanks to its large-scale urban planning model and extremely reasonable starting prices in comparison with similar apartments in the area.

“With a prime location with full convenience and synchronous and smart planning, VinCity Sportia will be a place of luxury living and an attractive investment channel for the community and foreign investors in Ha Noi in 2019,” Xuan said. — VNS
