VinaCapital changes fund names, updates app

VinaCapital Fund Management Joint Stock Company (VCFM) has changed the names of its open-ended funds, and launched the latest version of its VinaCapital MiO app which enables investors to manage their portfolios more conveniently and effectively.

The name of the VinaWealth Enhanced Fixed Income Fund has been changed to the VinaCapital Enhanced Fixed Income Fund (VINACAPITAL-VFF), the VinaWealth Equity Opportunity Fund to the VinaCapital Equity Opportunity Fund (VINACAPITAL-VEOF), and the Vietnam Equity Special Access Fund to the VinaCapital Equity Special Access Fund (VINACAPITAL-VESAF)

The names of two other funds, the VinaCapital Insights Balanced Fund and the VinaCapital Liquidity Bond Fund, were unchanged.

As of the end of June 2022, VinaCapital’s open-ended funds continued to outperform their benchmarks and maintained leading positions in their categories despite severe market fluctuations.

The VINACAPITAL-VFF ranked first in its category as well as the whole market with a 4.1 per cent return. VINACAPITAL-VIBF also retained the top position in its class, while VINACAPITAL-VESAF and VINACAPITAL-VEOF maintained the high ranks in their class.

The company has also launched a new version of its VinaCapital MiO app which offers clients a range of new features.

The app has a simple, clear, and easy-to-navigate interface, and enables clients to effortlessly manage and track the performance of their portfolios via their personal mobile devices or website.

For new clients, the app has upgraded its eKYC and electronic contract features, allowing them to register new accounts without having to submit hard copy documents. The new version of the VinaCapital MiO app is available for iOS and Android.
