Vietnam Airlines to launch services to Mumbai


Vietnam Airlines will launch a new route connecting Hà Nội, HCM City and Mumbai (India) to constantly expand the international network to meet increasing demand of passengers as of May 20, 2023.

National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will launch direct flights between Ha Noi/HCM City and India’s commercial hub, Mumbai, from May 20 to expand the international network to meet the increasing demand of passengers.

The airline will operate four flights per week on the Ha Noi – Mumbai route, departing on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and three flights per week on the HCM City – Mumbai route, departing on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays on Airbus A321.

To mark the new services, it will offer preferential fares, with a round-trip ticket, including taxes and fees, costing only US$199. The prices are applied for tickets purchased from now until May 26, for flights between May 20 and 26.

In June 2022, the airline introduced the first direct flight connecting Viet Nam and India’s capital – New Delhi.

With effect from 26 March 2023, Vietnam Airlines increased the frequency of operation on the route between Ha Noi-New Delhi to four flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays; between HCM City-New Delhi to three flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with Airbus A321 to facilitate travel needs of passengers. — VNS
