Vingroup and national carrier Vietnam Airlines agreed to work together to provide products across the two companies’ networks of flight routes and tourism accommodations.
The agreement was signed by Vietnam Airlines CEO Duong Tri Thanh and Vice Chairman and CEO of Vingroup Nguyen Viet Quang in Ha Noi on Thursday.
The two sides will join to develop and invest in new routes, and will run flights from domestic and international airports to Vinpearl entertainment destinations around the country.
Passengers are expected to benefit from this service. Package deals will be available that include both airfare and accommodations.
According to Thanh, co-operation between Viet Nam’s two leading corporations is a bold step into the supply chain that other Vietnamese brands can emulate in the future.
“Not only will it help Vietnam Airlines develop aviation and tourism packages and be more competitive in the market, but it will also bring great benefits to customers of both companies,” said Thanh. — VNS
