HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — VietJet received an A320 aircraft on May 13, raising the number of planes in its fleet to 25.
Acquiring the new plane is part of plans to to meet the peak travel demands during this summer and help the carrier expand its presence in the domestic and international aviation market.
Currently, VietJet offers 150 flights per day on 30 air routes covering domestic destinations and a number of international destinations in Singapore, Thailand, South Korea and Cambodia.
The airline plans to add 1,500 flights, offering more than 270,000 airfares from VND199,000 (US$9.26) for short routes and VND399,000 ($18.56) for over-one-hour flights. The promotion will be available for passengers booking tickets before May 30 for flights departing from now until August 30. — VNS
