Vietjet started selling tickets on its newest international flight linking HCM City and Bali (Indonesia) on Friday, making it the first and only airline operating direct flights on the route.

The new route will have return flights every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday from May 29 with flight times of four hours.

The flight departs from HCM City at 8.05am and arrives at Bali at 1.05pm (local time). The return flight takes off from Bali at 2.05pm (local time) and lands in HCM City at 5.05pm.

“The route will contribute to promoting tourism and economic integration in the region as well as introduce the images of Viet Nam to the world,” Vice President Nguyen Thanh Son said.

On the same day, the carrier announced a large-scale cabin crew recruitment event in Ha Noi on April 20 and in HCM City on April 26.

Requirements for candidates include being aged between 18 and 30 with a high school diploma, good communication skills, and a TOEIC certificate with a score of more than 400 or other relevant certificates.

For years, Vietjet has attracted high quality human resources from more than 40 nations, contributing to bringing flight opportunities to millions of passengers in Viet Nam and international destinations.

The airline has been honoured as Viet Nam’s 100 Best Places To Work for the fifth consecutive year by Anphabe, a career network of management professionals, and market research firm INTAGE Vietnam. — VNS
