Viet Nam's tallest building to open in 2018

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — The Landmark 81, which is expected to be Viet Nam's tallest building, will open in 2018, the investor Vingroup has said.

The 81-storey skyscraper, to be among the top 10 tallest buildings in the world, is located in the luxury urban area Vinhomes Central Park in HCM City's Binh Thanh District.

The complex consists of hotels, serviced apartments, shopping centres, bars, a restaurant and an observation centre. At least 456 luxury apartments with an area of 55-172 sq.m each are being built.

When completed, the building will have the highest observation desk in Viet Nam and the highest bar and restaurant in Southeast Asia.—VNS
