Viet Nam Youth Federation, TCPVN team up to support young people


In the three years, the two sides will co-operate in finding and honouring the members and typical youth who won the award "Noble Youth" and in implementing two events - Light of the Vietnamese Perseverance and Forum for young entrepreneurs and awarding outstanding youth start-ups.

Viet Nam Youth Federation and TCPVN - the first international office in Viet Nam of Thailand's TCP Group will team up to support Vietnamese young people in the 2020-22 period, following a Memorandum of Understanding inked between the two sides on Friday.

In the three years, the two sides will co-operate in finding and honouring the members and typical youth who won the award "Noble Youth" and in implementing two events - Light of the Vietnamese Perseverance and Forum for young entrepreneurs and awarding outstanding youth start-ups.

With the aim of sparking the noble gestures of young people, the "Noble Youth" award has created a strong change in awareness and action of many youths nationwide. The Viet Nam Youth Federation and TCPVN will commend the young people with outstanding achievements in all fields such as studying, labour, production, business, volunteering, defence, science and public technology.

Meanwhile, within the framework of the "I love my country" movement, "Light of the Vietnamese Perseverance" programme will be held to honour young people who constantly strive to overcome disabilities and spread positive energy by inspiring stories to guide the ideal of a good life for young people. They include responsibility, honesty and positive energy.

As a part of the three-year co-operation deal, the two sides will also implement a forum for young entrepreneurs and awarding outstanding youth start-ups with a chain of practical activities such as the Youth Start-up Forum, Contest on Innovative Startup Projects and the launch of the National Fund to support youth entrepreneurship in order to incubate potential projects, offer young people the best opportunities and conditions on their career path, thus contributing positively to national economic development.

TCPVN has inherited sustainable values from TCP Group in Thailand. Those are transparency in business activities, high quality in products, working environment, and harmony with the community, Nguyen Thanh Huan, General Director of TCPVN, said.

"Through the mission of spreading positive energy to the young people of Viet Nam, TCPVN has the opportunity to work with the Viet Nam Youth Federation, we hope that these contributions will become a part of the launchpad urging the young people of Viet Nam to maintain the spirit of optimism so that they are ready to move forward, lead the country to overcome immediate challenges and look forward to the future,” he said.
