DA NANG — Viet Nam will send 24 teams of primary school students from Ha Noi, HCM City and Da Nang to compete in the International Robotics Competition in the Philippines on Saturday.
All participating teams have to programme a robot using smart Information Technology applications.
The participants were selected by performing well in the National Robothon (Robot) Competition in Da Nang early this month. They will challenge 46 teams from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines in the annual competition.
Robotics programmes have been introduced to over 3,000 primary school students in Ha Noi, Da Nang and HCM City since 2011. — VNS
