The brands that have come are Audi, Chevrolet, Ford, Jaguar, Honda, Land Rover, Lexus, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo besides specialised and commercial vehicles such as DCar Limousine, Eicher and Fioril.
"Move forward for a better life" is Toyota’s message at the event.
Its 550sq.m booth features, besides its i-ROAD concept car, three models assembled in Viet Nam, Vios, Corolla and Innova, and three imports, Wigo, Rush and Hiace.
Toyota’s luxury brand Lexus has its own booth with NX300, RX350L, RS500, ES300h.
Honda displays the famous sports car Civic Type R and F1 racing car of the Red Bull Toro Rosso Honda team.
Mercedes-Benz, which has the largest booth, has 21 models on show including the flagship C-Class, GLC, E-Class, and S-Class besides attractive models such as the Roadster, Mercedes-Maybach and sports car Mercedes-AMG.
It offers promotions, financial packages and monthly instalment support.
The expo also has outdoor activities.
The Subaru Russ Swift Stunt Show will feature tricks like reverse rotation at high speed, parallel parking in small gaps and the donut spinning car show that entered his name in the Guinness World Records.
Lucky guests will be invited to join Swift as his "assistant" in his spectacular performance.
"Above & Beyond Tour" will enable visitors to explore the legendary features and technologies of the Land Rover.
The expo also has a large area outside dedicated to supporting industry exhibitors, with hundreds of manufacturers of equipment, parts and automotive interiors, and insurance and banking companies showing off their products.
The expo is on at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Center in District 7. — VNS
