The Saigon Union of Trading Co-operatives (Saigon Co.op) and Saigon Co.op Investment Development Joint-Stock Company (SCID) has opened a Sense Market shopping mall and a Co.opmart supermarket in Tiền Giang Province’s Cái Bè District.

Located in Cái Bè Town, Sense Market Cái Bè and Co.opmart Cái Bè cover a total area of nearly 5,000sq.m and cost nearly VNĐ190 billion (US$7.8 million) to build.

Sense Market Cái Bè is the first shopping mall in the district and a green building that offers a full range of shopping, dining, and leisure options for the residents in the district and neighbouring areas. It is expected to provide a place for organising activities that enhance cultural exchange and community connectivity.

It is the fifth shopping mall under the Sense shopping mall chain developed, managed and operated by SCID.

It sells nearly 30,000 items, including fresh and processed foods, cosmetics, clothes and household utensils and also offers online shopping via Facebook and Zalo.

Like other Co.opmart stores, the new supermarket will contribute to promoting consumption of local OCOP and agricultural products, such as macadamia nuts, cashew nuts, Cái Bè tangerines, and Cái Bè thick-skinned oranges, across the country.

Meanwhile, Co.opmart is offering discounts up to 50 per cent on over 5,000 products and a lucky draw with prizes such as a Honda Vision scooter, Panasonic fridge, Samsung smart TV 4K 50” and thousands of gifts. — VNS
