HÀ NỘI — Hồ Tràm Project Company Limited and its investment partners on Thursday kicked off the development of part of its massive resort project. The new section covers 35 hectares, with an estimated investment of nearly US$1 billion.
The section is part of the 164-hectare resort project, called The Grand Ho Tram, located in Bà Rịa – Vũng Tàu Province's Xuyên Mộc District. The project has a total investment of more than $4 billion.
At the ground-breaking ceremony, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Văn Thọ expressed the hope that the project will be completed and put into operation early. He also urged strict compliance with construction, safety, environmental and fire prevention regulations.
The new section will include a five-star hotel, luxury villas, entertainment facilities, casinos and an international convention and exhibition centre with more than 6,000 rooms, expanding The Grand Ho Tram’s capacity to a total of more than 9,000 rooms upon completion and positioning it as one of Southeast Asia’s largest resort complexes. — VNS
