HÀ NỘI — The People's Committee of Thái Nguyên province and Vingroup signed a comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote green transformation and sustainable development in Việt Nam.

The collaboration underscores their joint commitment to achieving the national goal of net-zero emissions by 2050.

The partnership focuses on leveraging each party's strengths to develop initiatives across green tourism, green industry, green urban infrastructure, green transportation, and fostering a green lifestyle. These efforts aim to align with the province's sustainability objectives.

This campaign will encourage the prioritisation of high-quality Vietnamese goods and services, fostering green practices within transportation. By promoting the use of VinFast electric cars, electric taxis, and buses, the initiative seeks to significantly reduce emissions and pollution. — VNS
