HÀ NỘI — Vingroup’s Xanh SM has announced the nationwide deployment of the S2S (Secure to Safe) safety monitoring system across its electric taxi fleet, set to be completed by April 22. This initiative marks a significant advancement in passenger safety, particularly for vulnerable groups such as children, women and the elderly, aligning with international safety standards.

As part of the system a surveillance camera will be installed in both the inside and outside of the vehicles, to monitor safety. There will be emergency buttons located at both the driver and passenger doors for quick access in emergencies.

Smart sensors and AI software aim to analyse behaviour and detect any problems in real time.

The surveillance camera will activate automatically during high-risk hours, considered 10pm to 6am, and it can be turned on by customer request during other hours. Recorded data is encrypted and deleted after 48 hours unless complaints arise. All footage is confidential and shared with authorities only upon legal request. — VNS
