HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Thai Airways is set to introduce a thrice-weekly flight starting on October 27 between Bangkok and HCM City to add to its two daily services.

The flight will leave the Thai capital at 1.30pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and depart from HCM City 3:50pm on the same days.

THAI will use new 168-seat A320s with a two-class configuration -- economy premium and economy classes.

It is expected to encourage commerce, business travel and tourism between HCM City and Thailand.

The new service will also enhance THAI's air connectivity on trunk routes to Auckland, Colombo, Penang and several cities in India and Pakistan.

THAI uses state-of-the-art aircraft like B787, B777, and A330 for its existing daily services from Bangkok to HCM City and Ha Noi. — VNS
