Total revenue of the IT industry in the first half of the year was estimated at $31.34 billion, a year-on-year increase of about 15 per cent, of which the hardware industry accounts for over 91 per cent.

Viettel’s global subscriber number is approximately 100 million worldwide, of which 61 million are domestic and more than 30 million are overseas.
In order to develop network infrastructure, Viettel now has a modern, synchronous and complete network infrastructure with 350,000 km of fiber optic cable, 5 national backbones and 6 international backbone lines. The number of 2G stations is 25,000, 3G is 35,000 and 4G is 36,000.
The country also successfully launched 4G services, with Viettel the first operator to provide high-speed mobile internet to customers. — VNS
