HA NOI (Biz Hub) – Tech Elite Inc. on September 16 ran a beta version of its event management tool, Sukien360, which aims to help people plan, organise, popularise and sell tickets to events online.

The tool is one of the projects receiving support and investment from the first-ever tech fund Vietnam Silicon Valley of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Pham Kim Hung, TechElite founder and chief executive officer, said it took his company more than a year to do research on and develop the tool.

"We carried out a survey among more than 500 people, and the results showed that 90 per cent of them wished to take part in their favourite events but did not know what to do. Being a tech company, we aimed to solve the issue that many of the people were facing," he added.

Hung refused to reveal the amount of investment and merely said the fund offered financial support and helped the company to implement its business plan.

The tool, which is available at www.sukien360.net, allows event organisers to create their own page for an event with essential information such as time, date, address and location map. Also, a live streaming facility will assist them in making and distributing video recordings to thousands of online users in real time. It will also enable organisers to integrate with social networks like Facebook, track and report changes regarding the event and do analysis.

Users can quickly search for information on events and pay tickets online using a variety of services, including online payment systems Paypal and Smartlink.

The tool is reportedly the first-ever social donation platform. Participants can donate money for charity events or help a poor family for an event organised by a user. Its server can allow 100,000 people to have simultaneous access to the site and ensure the safety and security of the customer database. The company will officially launch the product at the end of this year.

TechElite has successfully developed a national system for the Ministry of Home Affairs to recruit public servants from 2011 to 2013. - VNS
