Bilateral ties between Viet Nam and Turkey have room to flourish in the future, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue told a business conference held on Thursday in the capital.

Viet Nam and Turkey have set themselves a target of doubling bilateral
trade to US$3 billion this year, according to the Viet Nam Chamber of
Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
Two-way trade between Viet Nam and Turkey reached US$738 million in the
first half of this year, with $665 million from Vietnamese exports,
according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Viet Nam had recorded a trade surplus of US$474 million with Turkey in the first five months of 2014, Cong Thuong (Industry and Trade) newspaper has reported.
Viet Nam''s exports to Turkey saw significant annual growth of 34 per
cent, rising to US$185 million over the past two months, according to
the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
