National Assembly Chairman Vương Đình Huệ on Thursday visited Star Telecom (Unitel), a joint venture between Viettel Global and Lao Asia Telecom, as the last activity in his trip to the country for the first Cambodia-Laos-Việt Nam (CLV) Parliamentary Summit.
Star Telecom, a joint venture between Viettel Global Joint Stock Company
of Viet Nam and Lao Asia Telecom of Laos, has officially launched its
4G service on its Unitel network.
The Unitel network of Star Telecom Joint Venture Company is leading the
telecom market in Laos with 2.3 million subscribers, accounting for 49
per cent of the market share.
