The Market Watch General Department will take samples of moon cakes sold to the public for tests to ensure the quality and safety of the products during the Mid-autumn Festival, which starts next month.
Moon cake producer Mondelez Kinh Do has said it will introduce more than 80 varieties of moon cakes at various prices for the Mid-Autumn Festival next month.
The Asia Bakery and Confectionery Pte.Ent, known as ABC Bakery, has wrapped up export procedures for its first container of moon cakes (60,000 moon cakes) to be shipped to the US to be sold at supermarkets there.
Confectionery producer Mondelez Kinh Đo announced that it will
bring to the market 62 kinds of moon cakes to welcome the mid-autumn
festival this year, which is coming in about one month.
