HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Syrena Vietnam JSC has begun the construction of two 5-star hotels in Phu Quoc and Vientiane to meet the growing demand of tourists.
Located in Phu Quoc, nicknamed "Paradise Pearl Island," of southern Kien Giang Province, the Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc will provide 400 luxury rooms with sea views and conference rooms adhering to international standards.
According to Le Minh Hoang, director of Kien Giang Culture, Sport and Tourism Department, 2,900 rooms are available in Phu Quoc, but at present, only 600 can be used by tourists. The construction work started last year and is expected to be completed by the end of 2015.
The Crowne Plaza Vientiane has a prime location along Samsenthai and Sithong streets, near a park with the famous monument of Fa Ngum – the first king who found the Lang Xang kingdom of Laotians. This is also the first 5-star hotel complex in the heart of Vientiane with more than 200 luxury rooms designed in line with both traditional and contemporary values.
The Crowne Plaza Vientiane is expected to become the biggest tourist attraction for both domestic and foreign tourists and is expected to meet international standards while hosting international conferences, the ASEM summit, and other national events.
The Crowne Plaza is one of the most popular and fast-growing hotel brands of the InterContinental Hotel Group, the world's largest hospitality group with respect to the total number of rooms. At present, there are 392 Crowne Plaza Hotels in 52 countries.
