HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Sharp Vietnam Corporation on September 10 unveiled solutions to improve the quality of living and the working environment in Ha Noi.
The highlight was the launch of air purifiers with dehumidifying and mosquito-trapping functions that integrated the company's proprietary plasmacluster iron technology (PCI).
PCI has been widely tested by respected research institutes and universities in Japan and across the world, and has been proved to be safe for human health.
The air-purification technology helps to remove microbes such as viruses and fungi, and odours to provide a clean and safe environment in homes and offices.
Sharp Vietnam said the country's northern region was considered to be a potential market for air purifiers that have dehumidifying and mosquito-trapping functions. It cited reports and research that described the country's problems of air pollution and diseases caused by dust, humidity and mosquitoes.
Koji Domoto, general manager of Sharp Vietnam, said with environment-friendly products, the company expected to contribute to better health and comfort of living of the Vietnamese people.
Sharp has sold about 60 million air purifiers worldwide so far. In 2014, it was ranked by Euromonitor as the leading brand for air purifiers in Japan and Southeast Asia.
At the conference, Sharp also rolled out products for corporate customers, such as photocopiers, projectors, touch boards and versatile computers with smart utilities. — VNS
