HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — More than 250 apartments in the Scenic Valley project in HCM City's Phu My Hung Urban Area in District 7 were sold on the first day of the initial selling phase.

According to the investor, the Phu My Hung Development Corporation, about 900 investors took part in the sales, which were organised late last week. Customers had to draw lots to buy 251 apartments of 70 sq.m to 84sq.m in size.

Most of the consumers were young, and some of them were foreigners and residents from the neighbouring provinces of Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Vung Tau.

Phu My Hung authorities said this was the second time that one of its projects had reached 100 per cent sales on the opening day.

Investors at the sale said they had bought apartments in Scenic Valley because of the price, the support from banks, and the good location in Phu My Hung Urban Area's Medical Campus District.

Earlier, the company announced its co-operation with Vietcombank to offer priority loans to customers.

The project is expected to be completed in 2017, with seven 16-24 storey buildings. —VNS
