Saigon Co.op, the owner of the Co.opmart supermarket chain, on February 2 opened Co.opmart Hong Ngu at the KII building in Hong Ngu town in Dong Thap Province, its third store in the province.

The store has a total area of more than 3,000sq.m and total investment was more than VND62 billion (US$2.73 million).
It stocks more than 30,000 items, including fresh and processed foods, cosmetics, clothes and household utensils, 90 per cent of which are high-quality Vietnamese products.
Like all other Co.opmart outlets, the store sells price-stabilised goods. In addition, it acts as a bridge for the province’s specialties and other products to enter the Co.opmart chain.
To mark its opening, the new supermarket is offering discounts of up to 50 per cent on thousands of essential items until February 11.
Customers with bills worth at least VND300,000 can take part in a lucky draw and win prizes such as a Honda Lead scooter, Iphone 8 Plus, Samsung 40” TV, and others gifts. — VNS
