Sacombank has collaborated with Tuoi Tre (Youth) newspaper to organise an Online Run from June 14 to 16 as part of events in response to the 2020 Cashless Day and the Government's message of "new normal."
People can register to join from now through June 13 at www.sacombankrunnersclub.com.
The run consists of three distances for men (10km, 21km, and 42km) and four for women (5km, 10km, 21km, and 42km).
Participants can run anywhere and at any time, and multiple times, to complete the selected distance.
Participants who complete the race will receive a certificate, an electronic medal in their personal account at www.sacombankrunnersclub.com and an actual medal that will be sent to their registered address.
For each participant, Sacombank and its partners will donate VND100,000 (US$4.28) to frontline medical workers fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.
To register for the run:
Step 1: download and register an account on the Strava app from the App Store (IOS) or CH Play (Android)
Step 2: Access and register membership on the website www.sacombankrunnersclub.com. The organisation board will send a confirmation email after the participant completes the registration.
Step 3: Connect the account on the website www.sacombankrunnersclub.com to the account on the Strava application.
Step 4: Register to participate in the run.
Step 5: Use the Strava application to record the running results. The programme only records a participant running if they run a kilometre in four to 20 minutes. The results will be recorded in participants’ personal accounts at www.sacombankrunnersclub.com.
The online run is not only Sacombank's effort to popularise cashless payments, but also seeks to encourage the community to enhance physical training to pursue a healthy and positive lifestyle. — VNS
