Prudential extends premium payment grace period to 120 days


Prudential Vietnam Assurance Private Limited (Prudential Vietnam) has received approval from the Ministry of Finance to double the grace period from the standard 60 days to 120 for policy holders whose premium due dates fall between August 30 and December 31 this year.

Prudential Vietnam Assurance Private Limited (Prudential Vietnam) has received approval from the Ministry of Finance to double the grace period from the standard 60 days to 120 for policy holders whose premium due dates fall between August 30 and December 31 this year.

This is the latest effort by the company to ensure customers continue to receive uninterrupted protection during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Phuong Tien Minh, CEO of Prudential Vietnam, said: “Some of our customers may be facing a financial burden and emotional distress as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak. By extending the grace period for premium payment we hope to help ease the financial difficulties of customers during these challenging times, providing them peace of mind and more importantly, continued protection amid the COVID-19 outbreak”.

The COVID pandemic continues to substantially impact the public’s ability to carry on with its normal course of business. Prudential is encouraging its customers to utilise online transactions to limit in-person contact and ensure compliance with the Government's regulations on epidemic prevention.
