BANGKOK — Emall Vietnam, the operator of a 100-store network of premium business footwear under the Pierre Cardin and Oscar brands in Việt Nam, has officially taken over Pierre Cardin Thailand.

Pierre Cardin Thailand appears in Thailand’s top shopping malls such as Central, The M Mall, Siam Paragon and Robinson. This move marks the first time a Vietnamese enterprise rises to command a long-standing luxury retail chain in one of Asia’s most developed markets.

This acquisition not only reflects the bold ambition of Vietnamese businesses to expand across Asia, but also paves the way for upgrading domestic customer experiences to international standards, driven by Emall Vietnam, which has successfully managed the Pierre Cardin Shoes and Oscar Fashion brands for over a decade.

“This is more than a business transaction,” said Phạm Minh Thắng, CEO of Emall Vietnam. “It is a declaration of Việt Nam’s emerging leadership in the Asian luxury market. We’re not just selling shoes; we’re reshaping the regional fashion map under our vision of Việt Nam’s era of national ascent.” — VNS
