HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Europe's largest scooter maker Piaggio has introduced its iconic Vespa 946 to Viet Nam, targeting the country's wealthiest customers.
Retailing at VND 340 million (US$15,000), the Italian-made bike is the most expensive scooter in Viet Nam and is available by order only.
Piaggio Viet Nam said that the 946 is a limited model and its dealers will only receive orders from buyers until the end of August this year.
Inspired from the World War-2 era Vespa MP6 prototype, the name of the new model comes from the date the company started making scooters - 1946.
