DA NANG (Biz Hub) — In nearly a year since returning to Viet Nam Peugeot has sold over 1,000 bicycles, according to Velo Chic, the French company's authorised distributor.

Peugeot stores have opened in Ha Noi, HCM City, and the northern province of Son La, with a new one opening on Tuesday in the central city of Da Nang.

The company hopes to have a presence in every city and province, Vu Hu Phuc, marketing manager of Velo Chic, said.

The famous brand returned to the country last year after an absence of more than 20 years, and sold around 150 bikes on the opening day. — VNS
