Nu Skin Vietnam donates VND2,3 billion for kids with heart diseases


Nu Skin Vietnam has provided an initial VND2,3 billion (US$101,041) to Heartbeat Vietnam to fund life-saving operations for disadvantaged children with heart diseases to commemorate its five-year anniversary in Viet Nam.

Nu Skin Vietnam has provided an initial VND2,3 billion (US$101,041) to Heartbeat Vietnam to fund life-saving operations for disadvantaged children with heart diseases to commemorate its five-year anniversary in Viet Nam.

Speaking at the event held in HCM City’s Phu Nhuan District last Saturday (March 17), President of Nu Skin Southeast Asia, Vicky Leevutinun, said Viet Nam has strong potential in the Southeast Asia.

She said Nu Skin Vietnam achieved growth of 60 per cent in revenue last year compared to 2016.

“To achieve strong and suitable growth, Nu Skin always does business together with social responsibility initiatives,” she said.

In the last five years, Nu Skin has contributed VNĐ5.6 billion ($246,012) to the East Meets West Foundation and the VinaCapital Foundation to save 167 children with congenital heart diseases.

Nu Skin’s another initiative, called Nourish the Children, has provided 550 million Vitameals for disadvantaged children in the region, helping them to have better living conditions.

Founded more than 30 years ago, Nu Skin Enterprises Inc, a direct-selling company, develops and distributes anti-aging personal care products and nutritional supplements through a global network. — VNS
