The Nordic Chamber of Commerce in Viet Nam (Nordcham) has launched the Nordic Hub, the first flagship office for Nordcham’s members in HCM City.

The launch of the Nordic Hub is a significant step forward in strengthening the economic and cultural ties between Viet Nam and the Nordic countries, Nordcham said in a statement.

The office, operated by Nordcham's partner - The Sentry, offers a multi-function venue with meeting rooms, working desks, and an auditorium to accommodate various events including seminars, conferences, team meetings, and other activities for the convenience of the members and visitors alike.

The past few years witnessed impressive growth of Nordcham with an increase in SME membership of more than 60 per cent. Plus, a large number of Nordic companies have also expressed an interest in entering the Vietnamese market, creating a demand for a physical platform that can assist business operations and networking. This is what the office aims to fulfil, Nordcham said.

Nordcham is a not-for-profit, non-political, non-governmental organisation representing more than 140 members including world-renowned companies and investors from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland.

Nordcham facilitates trade and investment between Viet Nam and Nordic countries and provides a platform for companies to discuss common commercial interests. — VNS
