Grand K Hotel Suites, managed by Tay Do Export-Import and Construction Investment Ltd Company, has just opened, adding another choice for luxury hotels in the west of the capital Ha Noi.

The Golden Park, a building complex of offices, hotels and apartments, was started to be built in September 2017. The office, trade service and apartment bloc was completed in January 2021 while the hotel area was finished in December 2022.

The building, which is located on No. 2 Pham Van Bach Street, Yen Hoa Ward, Cau Giay District, was designed in a modern style and links important areas of the city such as the National Convention Centre, My Dinh National Sports Complex, Noi Bai International Airport, industrial zones on the outskirts of Ha Noi and the vicinity.

The Grand K Suites Hanoi Hotel stretches from the 32nd to the 45th floor of the Golden Park building, which was built at a total area of over 4,500sq.m.

According to Nguyen Thi Lan Phuong, Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Constrexim HOD, which invested in the construction, the hotel consists of 262 hotel rooms and high-level apartments.

“The ‘heart’ of the hotel is a series of restaurants including Ceiba, Sky 45 Bar & Lounge and Ivory with a 360 degree view of the city,” she said at the grand opening ceremony held on Wednesday. “A four-season swimming pool on the 45th floor of the building with a length of nearly 40m, which bridges the open space of the Sky Bar, will bring very different impressions to guests.”

Phuong said the hotel will serve tourists with 5-star standard of facilities and services with an experienced staff that has served in domestic and international hotels.

Nguyen Trieu Duong, a member of the Constrexim HOD Boards of Directors and General Director of the company, said the hotel aims to meet both the short and long stay demands of guests with fully-equipped serviced apartments.

Customers are expected to come from domestic and foreign companies, who come to Ha Noi for business trips, and tourist groups from South Korea, Japan, China and Southeast Asia. MICE combining holiday groups from Asia and Europe are also targets.

Nguyen Quang, General Manager of the hotel, said the hotel’s leaders care much for the environment.

“We will use environment-friendly items like paper straws, glass bottles, tooth brushes made of corn powder and environment-safe cleaning chemicals,” he said.

The hotel has also applied various modern apps and digital technology such as a passport scanner that updates guest information on the system, tablets for ordering at restaurants, and smartphone apps for requesting repairs in rooms, Quang said.

Quang stressed that with the hotel model constructed and run by a Vietnamese company, the company wants to develop a Vietnamese trademark in the field of hotel service. — VNS
