ĐÀ NẴNG — The central city-based 5R-Tech company, which has developed the first cost-effective solar panel recycling system developer, will be participating in the Select USA Investment Summit from May 11-14.

The company’s CFO, Phạm Thị Thanh Trà, said it will be the only Vietnamese company among three ASEAN representatives, along with Indonesia and the Philippines, at the international forum, seeking new industry connections and business partnerships into the US and ASEAN markets.

Trà said the company had been invited by the Department of Commerce of the US, following it being awarded a tranche of money from the Smart Cities Business Innovation Fund under the US-ASEAN Smart Cities Partnership, for research.

She said the summit, which will be held at Gaylord National Resort & Convention Centre in Maryland, would create an opportunity for the Vietnamese new industry developer to join in face-to-face meetings and explore possible joint ventures with business partners for the solar panel and electronic waste recycling project.

The innovative project development company, which was built at the incubation centre of Đà Nẵng City’s Hi-tech Park by a group of lecturers and students from the Đà Nẵng University of Science and Technology, has introduced the first prototype version of a solar panel recycling system in Việt Nam. — BIZHUB
