LIXIL Viet Nam Co. Ltd. introduced its new Aqua Ceramic technology on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the INAX brand's presence in the Vietnamese market.

Aqua Ceramic technology is a new stain-resistant ceramic technology that promises a clean toilet that "lasts a century," according to the company.

The Aqua Ceramic toilet is the first in the world to address four main issues related to cleanliness of toilets -- scuffing and scratching, marks from waste, stains from hard water and the build-up of bacteria.

"The sanitary ware market in Viet Nam is worth more than US$200 million per year and will continue to increase since the real estate market is recovering. INAX will always be the pioneer in introducing new technology, new designs and products of Japanese quality. On the other hand, we also always strive to improve service quality and brand image at our sales system to deliver the best customer experience, Masahiko Hiramoto, LIXIL Vietnam general director, said:

INAX has been present in the Viet Nam market since 1996. In January 1998, its first factory in the country began operation. So far, INAX has scaled up to seven porcelain factories, one faucet factory and one exterior brick factory, with 8,000 stores throughout the country. — VNS
