HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Syrena Viet Nam, a BIM Group member, has won "the Best Mixed-Used Development of Viet Nam" – one of the Asia-Pacific Property Awards' most prestigious categories – for its Little Vietnam project.

The project is based in Ha Long City in the northern Quang Ninh Province.

Little Vietnam outshone a number of its high-profile competitors in the Asia-Pacific region to be honoured with the award at a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, last Friday.

Little Vietnam, which covers 3.3 hectares in the Halong Marina Urban Area and features linked infrastructure with the central city of Ha Long-a popular tourist spot, has a unique architectural design which replicates Ha Noi's Old Quarter and Hoi An's Ancient Town but is still in harmony with contemporary designs.

Offering comfortable accommodation for residents and promising profits for retail businesses in its three and a half-storey townhouses, the project attracted a large number of investors, with all of the units it released for sale being bought within two months.

Syrena Viet Nam expects to put the project into operation in November this year.

"Winning this Asia-Pacific property award will help to showcase our ongoing efforts to provide real estate products that meet the highest international standards and quality measures," Syrena Viet Nam's Deputy General Director Le Minh Dung said.

Dung said the award would provide an impetus to Syrena Viet Nam to develop its projects in Ha Noi, Phu Quoc and Laos, with the expectation that its projects would contribute to treasuring life's values and improving living standards in urban areas.

Syrena Viet Nam is also developing International Phu Quoc, a five-star luxury resort and hotel in Phu Quoc Island, and Crowne Plaza Vientiane, a trade and hotel complex in Laos.

This was the second time Syrena Viet Nam had won titles at the Asia-Pacific Property Awards.

The Awards, which have been running for some 20 years, are recognised as one of the most prestigious annual property awards and are a symbol of excellence across the global industry.

The Best Mixed-Used Development award is presented to real estate projects which satisfy a number of criteria, including the implementation of unique architectural design and the provision of exceptional services and amenities for residents. — VNS
