KB Securities Vietnam to support students at VNU Hanoi


KB Securities Vietnam Joint Stock Company, a member of KB Securities under Korea’s KB Financial Group, and Vietnam National University, Hanoi, have signed a cooperation agreement to train and nurture young talents.

KB Securities Vietnam Joint Stock Company, a member of KB Securities under Korea’s KB Financial Group, and Vietnam National University, Hanoi, have signed a cooperation agreement to train and nurture young talents.

Under the agreement, KBSV will grant VND4.2 billion (US$169,037) to the university’s scholarship fund called "Incubating young scientists at Vietnam National University, Hanoi". Each year, the company will grant 20 scholarships for students majoring in basic science and 20 scholarships for students majoring in finance, banking, accounting, auditing, and business administration.

Students can also participate in training programmes and learn from science and technology lectures, and some will have internship opportunities at KBSV.

In addition, KBSV’s experienced experts and staff will participate in creating course outlines to teach and provide practical guidance to interns, as well as attend and share at events organised by the university.

KBSV will also provide funds to the university to send some excellent and potential lecturers and students to visit and attend training programmes abroad in their fields of training and research programmes.
