Japanese financial tech firm comes to VN

Money Forward, Inc, one of the top firms providing Personal Financial Management (PFM) service and software-as-service for back-office operations in Japan, on Wednesday opened a subsidiary in Viet Nam.

This is Money Forward’s first foreign subsidiary. The company is located in Ward 12 in HCM City’s District 4.

General Director Takayuki Tsuzuki will be responsible for developing the company in the Vietnamese market and Asian markets. Money Forward Vietnam aims to support Money Forward, Inc, upgrading the present popular services, taking part in researching and developing services.

In the near future, the company hopes to become one of the top financial technology companies in Asia.

“There are a lot of talented software engineers in Viet Nam. In addition, both countries have some characteristics of culture in common which can help us work together more effectively. I am excited to work with members and develop services for the Japanese market. Since the company is in Viet Nam, we would like to launch a variety of financial technology services for the Vietnamese market in the near future,” said Tsuzuki. — VNS
