HA Noi (Biz Hub) — IBM Viet Nam said yesterday that the Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OCB) was the first Vietnamese bank to use its security system, named Qradar.
The system has been protecting OCB from security risks, including persistent on-line threats and fraud operations for the past five months.
Qradar allows the bank to observe security risks, which are listed in order base on their importance and urgence.
Nguyen Ba Quynh, general manager of software group at the IBM Viet Nam, said that the security environment had become more complicated with the rapid development of sophisticated attacks. Using modern technology in gathering, evaluating and analysing documents from different sources can help organisations protect their information. — VNS
