The Hoan My Science and Technology Conference will be held online for medical professionals to share their expertise, experiences and findings to help address public health challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

It would be held at https://hoanmyconference.vn from December 10 to 11, have the theme ‘Optimising healthcare in the new normal,’ feature 80 leading experts, and nearly 100 papers would be tabled, the Hoan My Medical Corporation said.

Given the global situation of the pandemic, the conference will focus on prevention, care and treatment issues relating to it, new advancements in treatment and care, scientific and technological applications in all specialties, and quality improvements successfully implemented in many hospitals.

There will be delegates from Mayo Clinic of the US, the World Health Organisation and the Joint Commission International, a global leader in healthcare accreditation.

It will also feature virtual exhibitions and satellite conferences.

Dr Le Thi Anh Thu, group chief medical officer of Hoan My Corporation and vice chairwoman of the Medical Advisory Council, said: “This is an international conference hosted under a partnership between Hoan My and the Mayo Clinic that will deliver optimised solutions in treatment and care, scientific and technological advancements and innovations to help … the healthcare sector improve.”
