Herbalife Vietnam has won AMCHAM’S 2021 corporate social responsibility recognition award given to member companies for best CSR programmes.

Now in its seventh year, AmCham’s CSR recognition award programme identifies and recognises companies that demonstrate an understanding of the linkages between business operations and society, and conduct business in a way that creates long-term economic and social values.

This year’s awards recognise the actions and commitments of members who assisted Vietnam and its people during this challenging time.

Earlier Herbalife had won the AMCHAM CARES award for contributions to the fight against COVID-19.

It has been proactive in community support activities with a programme to provide healthy meals daily to children in need. It is helping around 1000 children at Dong Tam Social Protection Center, Huong Duong Orphanage, Xa Dan Secondary School and HCM City Women’s Charity Association.

In 2020-21 Herbalife contributed over 4.8 billion to the fight against COVID-19.

Employees of Herbalife volunteer for community support activities such as visiting and taking care of needy children, donating blood, supporting the fight against COVID, and helping needy people.

The company has been listed among the top 100 sustainable businesses in Viet Nam every year by the VCCI since 2017. — VNS
