Eighteen Vietnamese and foreign auto companies will participate in the 2018 Vietnam Motor Show in HCM City next October.

According to the organisers, the Viet Nam Auto Manufacturers Association (VAMA) and Viet Nam Car Importers Association (VIVA), this is the first time since 2015 that members of both associations have taken part in an exhibition.

“The co-operation between two associations marks an important step for the auto industry. It brings customers a chance to admire all car segments present in the Vietnamese market.”

The brands that will take part include Audi, Bentley, Chevrolet, Ford, Jaguar, Honda, Lamborghini, Land Rover, Lexus, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo.

They will showcase cars in many segments like low-cost, mid-priced and luxury, both completely built up and completely knocked down.

“The 2018 Vietnam Motor Show will be the biggest ever. It will also be the most attractive and professional,” the organisers claimed.

There will also be many promotions at the event for customers.

Besides cars, there will also be a pavilion for supporting industries, where hundreds of parts manufacturers and financial institutions will exhibit their products and services.

The expo will be held at the Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC) from October 24 to 28.

Last year VAMA and VIVA’s separate exhibitions attracted 150,000 and 60,000 visitors. — VNS
