FUNiX Online Education has organised a competition for students to share their thoughts on the usefulness of ChatGPT in learning.

The competition, which runs from March 16 to March 31, is open to past and present FUNiX students, as well as students currently studying at other institutions in Viet Nam or overseas.

Participants can express their ideas in any form, including photos, videos, articles, slides, drawings, songs, or poetry. FUNiX accepts entries in Vietnamese, English, or Japanese, and is offering attractive prizes.

ChatGPT, an AI-powered chatbot developed by OpenAI, has become increasingly popular in the field of education since its launch. It has been recognised as a tool that can revolutionise learning for both students and teachers.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Nam, founder of FUNiX Online Education, noted that ChatGPT is a testament to the ultimate goal of education, which is learners’ ability to self-learn. “The most important part of learning is asking questions. Vietnamese students are often afraid to ask, but ChatGPT gives them the opportunity to ask any question they want. And the issue here is whether students find the answers useful, not whether they are accurate,” he said.

To stay ahead of the technological curve, FUNiX Online Education has become the first to provide all students with access to the premium version of ChatGPT. According to FUNiX CEO Le Minh Duc, the question-and-answer method is the core of FUNiX’s learning model, which focuses on the benefits of being supported 1:1 with mentors. The company has built a network of thousands of IT experts who act as mentors to support students' learning. Integrating ChatGPT into the student support system is a step forward, encouraging young learners to raise questions confidently.

According to Duc, ChatGPT has already answered more than 50,000 IT-related questions from FUNiX students. — VNS
