AN GIANG (Biz Hub) — Fuji Xerox Vietnam has completed renovation of the B Nhon Hoi Primary School in the remote An Phu District of An Giang Province and handed it back to local authorities.
The Japanese communications and document services company collaborated with the province for this VND200 million (US$9,000) project, providing 80 per cent of the funds required. Non-profit Loreto Vietnam – Australia was the consultant for the work, which took three months.
The renovation of the school's five decrepit classrooms and other facilities that had threatened the safety of almost 160 students, mostly from poor families, was part of the company's corporate social responsibility programme, which has included other activities like support for orphans and disabled children. — VNS
