French Week at Big C begins

Famous French products and dance and musical performances are part of the "French Week in Big C Vietnam 2018", which kicked off at Big C Thao Dien in HCM City’s District 2 on November 2.

Organised by the Central Group Vietnam, the event will run until November 11 at 35 Big C stores across the country, with the aim of offering new buying experiences and satisfying the diverse needs of Vietnamese consumers.

During the week, consumers will have a chance to experience French products such as wine, traditional breads, jams, butter, cheese, beef and cosmetics. A French baguette recipe demonstration, La Parisienne makeup tutorial, French Cancan dance, and famous French songs and cuisine are also parts of the special event.

On this occasion, the entire Big C Vietnam system is offering discounts of up to 40 per cent on products imported from France such as pasta, noodles, Panzani sauce, confectionary, apples, cosmetics and beverages, together with many attached gifts.

The second French Week in Big C Vietnam coincide with the visit of France’s Prime Minister Edouard Philippe to Viet Nam from November 2 to 4, and on the occasion of 45 years of diplomatic relations and five years of strategic partnership between France and Viet Nam.— VNS
