HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The world's third largest smartphone company Huawei of China announced on Tuesday that FPT Trading Group JSC will be the exclusive distributor of its smartphones and tablets in Viet Nam.

FPT will distribute Huawei's three new products, which include smartphones G610 and Y320, and MediaPad 7 youth tablet, in the Vietnamese market. Allen Wang, director of Huawei Vietnam Consumer Business Group, said that at a time of strong competition among smartphone and tablet manufacturers in Viet Nam, the group has been taking firm steps to gain a stable share in this market by cooperating with the country's leading group in information technology and telecommunications.

"We highly appreciate our cooperation with FPT and hope that it will bring opportunities for the two sides in the Vietnamese mobile phone market," he said.

FPT Trading Group JSC, a member company of FPT Corporation, owns the largest delivery network of technology products in all cities and provinces across the country and is expanding its presence in neighbouring countries like Laos and Cambodia.

The company is the exclusive distributor of famous technology brands such as IBM, Microsoft, HP and Lenovo. — VNS
