Ford reveals upgrades to Everest, Ranger at Thai motor show

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — US auto maker Ford unveiled its new, improved Ranger and Everest cars at the 2015 Bangkok International Motor Show being held in Thailand.

Ford said the new Everest's advanced suspension offered exceptional comfort and agile handling, while its spacious interior delivered a comfortable ride for up to seven passengers.

It would be equipped with first-in-class features like SYNC 2, active park assist and segment-first curve control and blind spot information system with cross traffic alert, it said.

The car will be manufactured at AutoAlliance Thailand in Rayong, Thailand.

Upgraded diesel powertrains with start-stop technology and new electric power assisted steering would make the car quieter and up to 22 per cent more fuel-efficient, it said.

Ford Viet Nam has not disclosed when the two upgraded cars will come to the country. — VNS
