Damb'ri Challenge to take place in Tay Nguyen


The Off-road Damb'ri Challenge 2014 will take place in Damb'ri tourist site in the Tay Nguyen (Central Highland) province of Lam Dong's Bao Loc District from February 22 to 26.

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Off-road Damb'ri Challenge 2014 will take place in Damb'ri tourist site in the Tay Nguyen (Central Highland) province of Lam Dong's Bao Loc District from February 22 to 26.

This is one of the racing competitions of Viet Nam, involving all-terrain vehicles and openned annually. The event will be organised jointly by Damb'ri Tourism Joint Stock Company and Ha Noi and HCM City all- terrain vehicle clubs.

About 30 teams from across the nation will display off-road skills through 110 kilometres of forest roads in three days.

Pham Dien, a member of the umpire board, said the organisers will set higher standards for the drivers in their skill and the quality of cars this year.

The competition is aimed at improving the competitive skill of the drivers. The best ones will be selected to take part in domestic and international competitions such as the Rainforest Challenge in Halong, Malaysia and Indonesia. — VNS
